The mass of gas adsorbed per unit mass of adsorbent at the pressure of $0.4 \mathrm{~atm}$ is _________ $\times 10^{-1}$ (Nearest integer).

Solution

<p>$\mathrm{{1 \over n} = \tan (45^\circ )}$</p> <p>$\therefore$ $\mathrm{n = 1}$</p> <p>$\mathrm{\log k = 0.602}$</p> <p>$\therefore$ $\mathrm{k = 4}$</p> <p>$\mathrm{{x \over m} = k.{p^{1/n}}}$</p> <p>$= 4 \times 0.4 = 1.6$ g</p>
