<p>Number of lattice sites occupied = 8 corner + 6 face centres = 14</p>
<p>Number of octahedral voids = 12 edge centres + 1 body centre = 13</p>
<p>Number of octahedral void(s) per lattice site</p>
<p>$= {{13} \over {14}} = 0.928 \simeq 1$</p>
